At a time I was about to give up, I remembered I had another small program that might help: A program called Perfect Uninstaller which I downloaded for Norton Antivirus uninstall. Couple days ago I downloaded and installed this small application, when I thought that my brother was addicted with some sort of online gambling. I realized I had a typically incomplete uninstall, but did not know where to check the leftovers. Well, anyway this small betfilter worked pretty well. I guess sometimes it is just that easy with the help of a professional resource when you think you get stuck by all means. It instantly located and filtered certain kind of gambling sites which were exactly what my brother tried to get on, and he clearly understood what my purpose was. I must say this software was quite effective, but soon I found it perhaps too effective, as it changed my IE settings and filtered some sites that seemed not to have anything to do with gambling. I thought I removed it but still got blocked from those sites and a pop-up of betfilter always appearing whenever I opened my IE, telling me that the program was damaged and needed immediate repair. I then tried to uninstall betfilter, and failed. I was sure those were the reason for the leftover and I tried to delete them, failed again. I was totally at my wits end. After spending almost a whole night I finally located several folders and files that sounded weird to me:. When I right-click and deleted, it always prompted that you could not uninstall Betfilter.
